Posting to your Blog for your Projects
For each project you do this semester, you will
post on your blog about the process of creating the piece. Each project’s post must include the
following:
- A photograph of your work (or several to show 3-dimensional projects, such as the ring, at different angles)
- A 1 paragraph (at least 5-10 sentences) write-up including:
- Discuss/describe the artistic and/or technical process you went through (you don’t have to describe the entire process of making each piece from start to finish, especially after the first project – there’s no need to describe in detail every step of making each piece or you’ll end up repeating yourself for each project. Instead, discuss what surprised you about the process, how the creative process changed throughout the project or varied from the last project, etc)
- Challenges that you encountered
- What you enjoyed
- What you learned
- What did you do to challenge yourself?
- What do you feel turned out well?
- What could you have done better?
- Was there a certain artistic statement/message/idea you were trying to convey? If so, what did you do to communicate this through your design or process?
